Banned in most countries and denounced from the pulpit, the terrible, irresistible ideas presented in the play are unquestionably unsettling. Are the better qualities of humanity no more than false masks worn to conceal the base passions that rules all men, women, and children? It might be best not to dwell on it, and to focus on the task at hand.
As private investigator Howard Lovecraft, you will investigate events based on Robert W. Chambers’ collection of stories, The King in Yellow, and on Raymond Chandler’s short story of the same title.
