Cthulhu Britannica: London - The Journal of Reginald Campbell Thompson

For the investigators, The Curse of Nineveh campaign starts in London, 1925. But, the events of the campaign really start some 6 years earlier, when the acclaimed Assyriologist leads an ill-fated expedition to Iraq, where he uncovers the legendary Temple of Nabu. It’s what he discovers there – and eventually brings back to London – that form the main storyline for the campaign.

The events of the expedition are described in the background to The Curse of Nineveh book, but they are really brought to life in The Journal of Reginald Campbell Thompson.
